Jack P. Shepherd's t-shirt trouble

2 months ago 16th Jul 13:00

'Coronation Street' star Jack P. Shepherd left bosses fuming when he wore a t-shirt bearing the slogan 'Schwetty Nuts' during filming.

The 20-year-old actor - who plays villainous David Platt in the ITV programme - breached TV guidelines by wearing the suggestive top in one scene of the soap which will be broadcast next Monday (21.07.08).

A source said: "It was spotted by the 'Coronation Street' compliance department who look for anything that breaches guidelines. They then made us go back and re-shoot the entire episode.

"It airs on Monday so we were cutting everything very fine. The knock-on effect is incredible because everyone is now running behind."

A 'Coronation Street' spokesperson confirmed:

A 'Coronation Street' spokesperson confirmed: "Jack's t-shirt was picked up by compliance before we went on air. We had to reschedule a few scenes."

The scene in question saw Jack's character David wearing it in both the kebab shop and his grandmother Audrey's hair salon.
