"Billary" joking aside, We, as a nation, much less as human beings, ought to have left the concept of a wife as president being just a shill for her husband way back in the dark ages. Hillary would have served with her own brand of distinction quite well, thank you, even if her philandering cigar-toting half-assed excuse for a husband had croaked on the campaign trail (as a matter of fact, she probably would have gotten the nomination had that happened!).

If you can't rationally discuss and dissect a person on his OR HER merits as a human being, regardless of gender, then you ought to at least find another forum to spout your bigoted innuendo.

Ah yes, when someone says something you don't like, even though it's been said thousands of times before, you play the bigot name-calling card. Guess you learned your lessons well from the democrats in your state. Have it your way - be a crybaby and sit out the election.

I notice you didn't manage to intelligently address the ACTUAL SUBJECT. Was that because you are incapable of rationally defending your prejudices, or because you figured criticizing my use of the word "bigot" would get you more sympathy?

I have been accused in other threads of "throwing away my vote" if I were to vote Libertarian, or write in Ron Paul.

What, pray tell, is the difference between that and voting for the mainstream candidate that doesn't win? Not a GD thing. From your point of view, I am still "throwing away my vote" or "sitting out the election". The only way, it seems to me, to avoid "throwing away my vote" is for there to be only one candidate, e.g. THE WINNER. Carrying this forward to it's logical conclusion--why don't we just adopt the system that existed in Mother Russia before Glasnost--we'll just have one candidate, decided upon by the aristocratic elite who know what's best for us, and we get to vote "Yes" or "No", with some sort of KGB equivalent looking over our shoulders making sure that we vote "the right way".

At least, no one will ever again be accused of "THROWING AWAY THEIR VOTE"!

Racism?
The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete, but so is the State, the entity he worshiped. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of man, that state is obsolete.

I was wondering what the "Bimbo" vote might be worth after Paris Hilton's endorsement ?

When has Paris Hilton endorsed John McCain? If this is in reference to the spoof, I don't see that as an "endorsement" by any stretch of the imagination. I view it as her disapproval of his using of her in the ad. She remained neutral, or supportive, which ever way you want to look at it, of both candidates in regard to the one issue she brought up which was the fuel crisis.

I thought Hilton had already donated to the McCain campaign, and given her support, before being used in any ad's?

I knew you were joking. That wasn't why I asked. It was due to the quote by BW in your post about Paris "endorsing" John McCain. I've seen no evidence of.

Citizens of the USA are feel to make monetary contributions to any or all political parties. This is not an uncommon practice in order to remain neutral publicly. It's the vote that counts and that is private. Donating the maximum amount allowed by law to a political candidate is NOT endorsement. The maximum is only $2300, so it's not like it's gonna break the bank to donate. I hardly think $2300 tells who one will actually vote for.

I'm only going on what was reported over here a couple of days ago - haven't found any supporting US reports yet - apart from one reporting on several members of the Hilton clan not being happy with the McCain Ad'.

Apparently the total donations from the Hiltons are collectively well over $60k, maybe $70k, so far..
