George H. W. Bush has the experience, would be qualified to be president and has a term left of eligbility, but he didn't run.

McCain has a wealth of high-quality government and military experience that would be very helpful to him if he were to serve as president. Barry O'Bumma has a couple of years as an undistinguished rookie senator and a bunch of catchy campaign slogans and reverend-quality inspirational speeches. You make the call.

And that is what? He spent the Vietnam War as a prisoner of war, and while that is to his extreme credit, it does not anoint him with the skills to be president. Suppose we took someone off of death row in a Texas prision, who’s DNA proved he didn’t do it, does that make him qualified to be president. I doubt it.

cambridge are you anti american? you write about each man poorly. do you trouble yourself to vote for one of them. or do you only find faults with all things including other members. you have a sad view of life. someone must have hurt you. take a stand for something and find good in life. it is not all bad unless that is how you want to live it.

After putting the above quote through the Dialectizer translator for some clarification, I received the following:

Yes bushwalker/david, you tried that dialector joke before. That kind of humour was funny when we were six years old. When we were seven, it seemed childish because most of us grew up.

What happened to you?

And John Edwards tells his 516th story about a man living under a bridge, so the democratic voters kick him out of the democratic primary race. So he makes TV commercials and makes sure he does not attend any hearings in Congress.

Tell you what, McCain's credentials are looking better and better.

Being the evenhanded gent that I am, here is a reply from the opposition:

And here is the translation after putting Cambridge's reply through the translator -

David, you showed you are a biased liberal by removing all the bork bork's out of cambridge's dialectized post.

You've been exposed for what you are.

For the record:

I didn't remove anything - I simply pasted it across - that's the way the translator did it..

I think it only requires a longer quote.

I don't need to be exposed, either...

Zia and myron, and others, have known of my green/liberal leanings ever since I've been in here..

:P

And if Cambridge, myron and the Colonel want to to drag some of these debates down into the gutter level and personal abuse, I say we leave them there - I'm staying out of that.
(Unless it is grossly undeserved, and/or drags 3rd parties in, like last week's attack... )

"Billary" joking aside, We, as a nation, much less as human beings, ought to have left the concept of a wife as president being just a shill for her husband way back in the dark ages. Hillary would have served with her own brand of distinction quite well, thank you, even if her philandering cigar-toting half-assed excuse for a husband had croaked on the campaign trail (as a matter of fact, she probably would have gotten the nomination had that happened!).

If you can't rationally discuss and dissect a person on his OR HER merits as a human being, regardless of gender, then you ought to at least find another forum to spout your bigoted innuendo.

Ah yes, when someone says something you don't like, even though it's been said thousands of times before, you play the bigot name-calling card. Guess you learned your lessons well from the democrats in your state. Have it your way - be a crybaby and sit out the election.
