Twenty-five octopuses have taken to playing with Rubik's Cubes.
Scientists have handed the puzzle cubes to octopi in a bid to find out more about their tentacles. Scientists believe Octupii have a favourite tentacle out of their eight for finding, poking and picking up - just like humans are either left or right handed.
Scientists have instigated the month-long experiment at 23 Sea Life Centres across Britain and Europe by giving them food and toys to play with.
The Octupii will have their tentacles labelled R1 to R4 on the right hand side and L1 to L4 on the left. Visitors and staff at the centres will monitor which tentacle the sea creatures use to pick up items such as a ball, a jam jar and Lego bricks.
