A sculpture has been carved from one tonne of cheese to celebrate American Independence Day.
Artist Troy Landwehr replicated an iconic painting depicting John Adams, John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin and others signing of the Declaration of Independence out of Wisconsin cheddar.
Landwehr said: "It's very patriotic, using the signing of this document, bringing Americans together for the Fourth of July [Independence Day]."
Landwehr spent eight hours a day for a week in a 40-degree cooler cutting the cheese, which is pasteurised and preserved with cooking oil, so it will not melt.
Once it has been displayed it will be broken up and donated to food pantries to feed the poor and homeless.
