Bat bra

A girl found she had been carrying a live bat in her bra for nearly a whole a day.

The English girl, 19, felt vibrations but put them down to her mobile phone. Hotel receptionist Abbie Hawkins was shocked when she later investigated an itch and pulled a bat from the padding of her bra.

Abbie said: "It looked very snug in there and I thought how mean I was for disturbing it. I didn't notice anything when I put my bra on. It had been on the washing line the day before. When I was driving to work I felt something but thought it was my phone."

The creature was unharmed and Abbie later let it go back into the wild.
